Taking the win for the Blockchain category is iTRACE Technologies, Inc.. Their case study featured a large US based aircraft equipment manufacturer in the used and refurbished parts business. The customer realized including parts provenance data with the parts they produce, refurbish, maintain, and sell would add significant value to those parts and increase their value in the marketplace. The challenge is that the data saved on the digital ledger or database is only as good as the connections between the physical item and the digital ledger.
