iTrace Technologies Brings Blockchain to Watch Manufacturing Through Montrichard Collaboration

iTrace technologies and Montrichard company have entered a collaboration that will bring secured products to Montrichard’s clients. The watch manufacturing company will have 2DMI integration from iTrace which specializes in the provision of secure anti grey market and anti counterfeit solutions. Watches delivered to clients will have their security ensured with the iTrace 2DMI directly through Montrichard’s FINS manufacturing process.

The security features will be offered on demand using iTrace’s cloud based SaaS API and accessed by the manufacturing company through a suite of 2DMI apps. As a result, Montrichard will be able to bring blockchain technology to FINS while increasing the level of trust among its clients and partners. FINS is a cloud based ERP solution for the watch industry. It is managed through an online portal applying lean technology and micro manufacturing. Montrichard manufactured watches will be able to connect directly with any blockchain for a secure irrefutable connection with the distributed ledger.

According to iTrace founder, 2DMI is flexible and easy to integrate with manufacturing processes while its cloud based implementation ensures products can be secured with no extra burden on the manufacturers. Watches secured through the iTrace 2DMI will be shielded against counterfeiting and trading o the grey market. Remi Chabrat, Chief executive at Montrichard acknowledges that iTrace’s 2DMI application is superior to other similar solutions available in the market. He further notes customer demands, direct integration and aligned goals between the 2 companies as motivation for the collaboration. He comments that his company’s customer will be able to enjoy the best security features while providing the foundations for blockchain connectivity.

iTrace solutions are already used to secure pharmaceuticals, retail and luxury goods wine and bottling and other industrial activities. It’s encryption services can be applied on any physical surface using micro marks too small for the human eye to see. Users can also use a single license to track any number of products making it efficient for manufacturers. The encryption solutions are also designed to retain their integrity while integrating seamlessly with standard printing, reading and laser solutions.
